17 Study the following pictures carefully and write an essay in which you should:
1. describe the picture;
2. interpret the meaning of the picture;
3. make your comment.
You should write 160~200 words neatly on ANSWER SHEET 2.
這篇文章寫(xiě)的是招聘中的不合理現(xiàn)象,可分為四段來(lái)寫(xiě)。第一段描述圖畫(huà),第二段進(jìn)行闡釋,第三段寫(xiě)解決問(wèn)題的辦法,第四段是結(jié)語(yǔ)。The picture reveals an unhappy experience of a female university graduate on a recruitment affair. The first company requires practical experience, the second one doctoral degree, and the third one male. It is a heartbreaking experience as she cant meet any requirement.
As more and more applicants flood into todays job market, many companies have heightened their standards. Such standards, in some cases, are not only unreasonable but also discriminative. First, experience comes from onthespot practice—if no corporation employs new university graduates, how can they accumulate experience? Second, many companies welcome doctors and masters, but reject bachelors directly. This regulation is built on the belief that postgraduate education is fruitful and successful and it helps improve peoples overall ability. In fact, we come across many examples in which people pursue postgraduate studies not for the love of a particular field but for the sake of finding an ideal job. Moreover, a person without such education may be more responsible and conscientious. Last but not least, some companies only admit male applicants, which is unfair for female ones—in the modern era, such discrimination is totally unacceptable.
If we want to improve the present situation, the government should help companies change their point of view. By more scientific and more practical recruitment methods, they may give more people a chance to attend a persontoperson interview. On the other hand, job applicants should make ample preparations so as to accumulate experience. If they begin to take their future job into consideration when they enter the university, then it will be much easier when they are about to graduate.
The job market should be a fair place that provides different people equal chances. When we eliminate discrimination and prejudice, every member of us will lead a better life. 第一段是對(duì)圖畫(huà)的描寫(xiě)。
第二段先寫(xiě)隨著越來(lái)越多的求職者涌入就業(yè)市場(chǎng),許多公司都提高了標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。這些標(biāo)準(zhǔn)在某些情況下不僅不合理而且?guī)в衅缫暎蠓譃槿c(diǎn)展開(kāi)論述。第一點(diǎn)講,經(jīng)驗(yàn)來(lái)自現(xiàn)場(chǎng)實(shí)踐——如果沒(méi)有公司招收剛畢業(yè)的大學(xué)生,那么他們又怎樣積累經(jīng)驗(yàn)?zāi)?第二點(diǎn)講許多公司基于研究生教育是成功的、能提升人的總體能力這一想法,歡迎博士與碩士,而不招收學(xué)士。實(shí)際上,有些人上研究生不是因?yàn)闊釔?ài)某個(gè)學(xué)科,而是為了找到理想的工作。沒(méi)有上過(guò)研究生的人可能會(huì)更有責(zé)任感。第三點(diǎn)說(shuō)一些公司只召男員工,這對(duì)女性不公平——在當(dāng)今時(shí)代,這種歧視是完全不能被接受的。
第三段分兩方面來(lái)說(shuō),先說(shuō)政府應(yīng)幫助公司改變觀點(diǎn),使它們讓更多的人有參加面試的機(jī)會(huì)。第二個(gè)方面是說(shuō)求職者應(yīng)做好充分準(zhǔn)備以積累經(jīng)驗(yàn)。如果入大學(xué)時(shí)就開(kāi)始考慮未來(lái)的就業(yè),那當(dāng)他們快畢業(yè)時(shí)就會(huì)感覺(jué)簡(jiǎn)單得多。
最后一段第一句說(shuō)就業(yè)市場(chǎng)應(yīng)該是給不同的人相同機(jī)會(huì)的一個(gè)公平的地方。第二句說(shuō)當(dāng)我們消滅歧視和偏見(jiàn)時(shí),每個(gè)人就都會(huì)過(guò)上更好的生活。該文談的是就業(yè)這一熱點(diǎn)問(wèn)題。文章結(jié)構(gòu)的確立并不難——第二段寫(xiě)就業(yè)中種種要求的不合理,第三段寫(xiě)如何解決問(wèn)題——這是一種合理的安排。在各段的分點(diǎn)寫(xiě)作中,應(yīng)注意各點(diǎn)間的相互關(guān)系。將不同要點(diǎn)進(jìn)行有機(jī)的串聯(lián),才是不錯(cuò)的選擇。
