八 請(qǐng)求信 (A Letter of Request)

　　請(qǐng)求信是對(duì)收信人提出請(qǐng)求，并希望對(duì)方滿(mǎn)足該要求。寫(xiě)請(qǐng)求信的重點(diǎn)是要寫(xiě)清楚為什么要請(qǐng)求他人做某事，請(qǐng)求他人做某事的原因。

　　寫(xiě)請(qǐng)求信時(shí)首先要說(shuō)明寫(xiě)作意圖，一定要注意語(yǔ)氣要禮貌，用詞要規(guī)范;然后具體展開(kāi)說(shuō)明請(qǐng)求的原因;最后表示希望對(duì)方予以答復(fù)。

　　寫(xiě)作“三步走”：介紹自己、提出請(qǐng)求->說(shuō)明原因及其它事項(xiàng)->表達(dá)謝意、期盼答復(fù)

　　提示：在許多情況下，請(qǐng)求信是寫(xiě)給不認(rèn)識(shí)的人或者機(jī)構(gòu)，所以在信的開(kāi)頭可以做一下簡(jiǎn)單的自我介紹。同時(shí)，由于提出的請(qǐng)求往往都是需要麻煩別人的事情，所以要注意語(yǔ)氣的禮貌程度，不要吝嗇你的感謝。

　　Directions:

　　You want to contribute to Project Hope by offering financial aid to a child in a remote area. Write a letter to the department concerned, asking them to help find a candidate. You should specify what kind of child you want to help and how you will carry out your plan.

　　Do not sign your own name at the end of the letter. Use "Li Ming" instead.
