　　五、圖畫(huà)作文

　　圖畫(huà)作文是近年考研英語(yǔ)寫(xiě)作中出現(xiàn)頻率很高的一類(lèi)文體，考生要特別加以重視。圖畫(huà)式作文通常是給出一幅或幾幅漫畫(huà)或圖片。一般來(lái)說(shuō)，所給圖畫(huà)均反映一定的社會(huì)現(xiàn)象或社會(huì)現(xiàn)實(shí)。這類(lèi)作文難度較大，要求考生仔細(xì)分析圖畫(huà)的內(nèi)容，并通過(guò)文字形式將圖中所包含的思想內(nèi)容準(zhǔn)確地表達(dá)出來(lái)。考生可以將此類(lèi)作文轉(zhuǎn)化為三段式或四段式提綱作文。

　　圖畫(huà)作文寫(xiě)作步驟：

　　1. 認(rèn)真審題

　　在審題時(shí)，考生要認(rèn)真分析圖畫(huà)所反映的內(nèi)容以及出題者的意圖，分析圖畫(huà)的表層含義和深層含義，通過(guò)表層含義分析圖畫(huà)真正想要說(shuō)明的問(wèn)題是什么，從而挖掘出其深層含義以確定文章的中心思想。

　　2.確定寫(xiě)作重點(diǎn)

　　審題之后，根據(jù)分析的結(jié)果列出提綱并組織安排段落，確定每一個(gè)段落的主題和寫(xiě)作重點(diǎn)，然后根據(jù)題目要求進(jìn)行選材，并對(duì)所選材料再進(jìn)行篩選和分類(lèi)。

　　3.確定寫(xiě)作模式

　　確定寫(xiě)作模式實(shí)際上就是按照題目要求確定文章的整體結(jié)構(gòu)。如上所述，圖畫(huà)式作文一般可轉(zhuǎn)化為三段式寫(xiě)作模式：

　　開(kāi)始段： 描述圖畫(huà)表層含義及深層含義并由此得出結(jié)論;

　　中間段： 解釋原因、分析結(jié)果，或進(jìn)一步論證主題思想;

　　結(jié)束段：發(fā)表個(gè)人評(píng)論或提出建議。

　　Directions:

　　Study the following drawing carefully and write an essay in which you should

　　1) describe the drawing,

　　2) interpret its implications, and

　　3) give your comments.

　　You should write 160~200 words.

　　As is described in the picture, a middle�瞐ged man holds a plate with a bowl, a pair of chopsticks, and a jar of nourishment, murmuring “to live well up to the 22nd century, it is really helpful to build up good health with nourishments”.His face is as dull as dead water, his tongue is stuck out of his mouth and his posture is strange, knees bent, leaning forward.

　　This cartoon points out a serious problem which needs to be taken seriously: “What is a positive attitude towards nourishment?” Misconception prevails nowadays all over the world that nourishment can make the weak strong and the sick healthy. For those who believe in this kind of theory, such omnipotent nourishment is all�瞔ures. So they take this kind of magical nourishment excessively. However, this is far from the truth. Taking nourishment to ensure your health is nothing but an illusion. Moreover, a great amount of fake nourishment is flooded within the markets, which will thus deteriorate your health after continual use.

　　From the analysis above we can easily draw a conclusion: a wish is a wish, no matter how sweet it is. A good wish, however, doesn�餿 mean a real life! In reality, life blooms with doing exercises and taking part in sports. Besides, proper diets are also a rewarded way to keep you fit and healthy. Give up the idea of “more nourishment and more health”and you will build a muscular body in the long run.

　　The problem of smoking has been widely discussed all over the world. As is shown in the pictures, smokers make up 20% of the world�餾 total population. And tobacco has caused a loss of 200 billions dollars and claimed 3 million lives annually.

　　However,it is encouraging that the world tobacco production has dropped from that of 14��364 billion pounds in 1994 to that of 14��2 billion pounds in 1995. According to this change, I am confident that there will be less and less tobacco consumption in the future, generally for two reasons. On the one hand, more and more people are aware of the great harm of smoking and join in the fight against it. On the other hand, many governments have attached more attention to this social hazard and have taken many measures to put an end to it. The most obvious example is the ban of tobacco advertisement on mass media in some countries. Therefore, I have every reason to believe that the fight against smoking will be won at last.
