四、推薦信

1、推薦信是一個人為推薦另一個人去接受某個職位或參與某項工作而寫的信件。特定含義下指本科生或碩士研究生到其他（一般是國外）大學(xué)研究生院攻讀碩士或博士學(xué)位時，請老師所寫的推薦信。一般說來美國的研究生院要求提供3封推薦信，信件作者應(yīng)該熟悉學(xué)生，并且有一定知名度。

2、正文主要有三個部分：

(1)介紹推薦人和提及與自己的熟悉程度

(2)對推薦人的評價

(3)提及推薦者綜合素質(zhì)有關(guān)的內(nèi)容

4、推薦信經(jīng)常使用一些褒獎的形容詞來描述被推薦人: bright, clever , capable, gifted, talented, ingenious, outstanding, prominent, diligent, assiduous, industrious, conscientious, hardworking, humorous, good-humored, cooperative, compromising, competent, original, innovative, ambitious, creative, original, innovative, inventive, imaginative, firm, persistent, persevering, resourceful, kind-hearted, generous, honest, helpful, cheerful, considerate, devoted, dedicated, committed, promising, far beyond the average person…
