Dear Professor Smith,
It has been a long time since we met last time.I hope everything goes on well with you.Today, I am writing to you to invite you to attend a conference to be held by our department.
Next month, our department is going to sponsor an international conference on “Protection and Conservation of Natural Resources”.About 100 scholars and researchers both from home and abroad will get together to discuss how to protect and conserve natural resources.We sincerely hope you could be present and whats more, we, as the sponsor, would be delighted if you could deliver a speech at that time.
The conference will be held from the 12th to 15th next month in our university and we would offer more detailed information soon with more things being settled down.

Ⅶ.Teaching plan
一、熱身復(fù)習
1.師生問好。
2.出示單詞卡片,復(fù)習上節(jié)課所學過的內(nèi)容。
二、新課
1.引入
放動物圖片的課件,讓學生整體感知本課要學習的幾種動物。
2.第一部分:(What is it?)
用課件出示動物圖片。
教師領(lǐng)讀,學生跟讀、學生自由讀、小組合作讀、男女生分開讀、比賽讀等,教師運用多種形式讓學生體會單詞的發(fā)音,記憶單詞。
3.第二部分:(Where does it live?)
出示課件,先讓學生試著讀讀句子,解釋清楚第三人稱單數(shù)“does”的用法。
由學生自己根據(jù)已經(jīng)學過的知識試著讀句子。
教師領(lǐng)讀,學生自由讀、小組內(nèi)讀,直到熟練為止。
三、趣味操練
1.口形識別游戲
由教師不出聲只做口形讀出單詞,請學生識別相應(yīng)的單詞。
2.小組實踐表演對話,練習句型。
四、作業(yè),課堂結(jié)束
