三、提前準(zhǔn)備,適當(dāng)練習(xí)
1、見面問(wèn)候語(yǔ):Good morning / afternoon, dear professors. I am XXX. (Nice to meetyou。)。告別用語(yǔ):Thanks for yourtime. / Thank you for giving such a chance. I hope to see you again and soon。
2、 自我介紹篇(重點(diǎn));旧厦總(gè)院校每個(gè)專業(yè)的口試中都會(huì)涉及這一方面?脊倨鋵(shí)是要借此了解你的口頭表達(dá)能力以及你的報(bào)名表之外的一些信息。自我介紹時(shí)間以2-3分鐘為宜。思路要清楚,要突出重點(diǎn),口語(yǔ)盡量流利。
1) 自我介紹的主體內(nèi)容
、 姓名。介紹自己姓名時(shí),發(fā)音一定要準(zhǔn)(南方考生要多加注意)。
、 年齡。年齡可以跟在姓名后帶過(guò)(I am XXX, 25 years old)。
、 原來(lái)的院校、專業(yè)。注意:一定要把原來(lái)學(xué)校的英文名稱、專業(yè)的英文名稱弄清楚(尤其是跨校、跨專業(yè)的學(xué)生)。
所屬的公司、職位。注意:在職考生則應(yīng)將自己公司、自己職位/職稱的英文名稱弄明白。
、 性格、能力,愛好等?梢灾貜(qiáng)調(diào)你的個(gè)性對(duì)你報(bào)考的專業(yè)有何積極的作用。如果報(bào)考的是學(xué)術(shù)性的專業(yè),可以說(shuō)自己細(xì)心(carefully,detail-oriented)、條理分明(logical)、踏實(shí)(steady)等;如果是研究性、應(yīng)用性更強(qiáng)一點(diǎn)的專業(yè),可以說(shuō)自己負(fù)責(zé)(responsible)、可靠(dependable)、有效率(efficient)等。
、菽銓(duì)報(bào)考的專業(yè)有興趣(be interested in/be fascinated with/be obsessed with…),可適當(dāng)舉出一些例子,如經(jīng)?聪嚓P(guān)的書籍、論文、文章、新聞等。在職考生可以強(qiáng)調(diào)知識(shí)教育對(duì)工作的影響: In my work, I find it necessary to broaden my horizons incommunication. That’s why I long for entering your prestigious university。
結(jié)束時(shí)可以用說(shuō):That’s all aboutme. / Well, that’s who I am. Thanks for your attention。
3、未來(lái)規(guī)劃——學(xué)習(xí)規(guī)劃(研究生以后的方向),人生規(guī)劃(短期、長(zhǎng)期)
4、跨專業(yè)問(wèn)題——老師通常會(huì)對(duì)跨專業(yè)的學(xué)生問(wèn)這樣一個(gè)問(wèn)題:為什么會(huì)選擇這個(gè)專業(yè)?不要前篇一律地回答只說(shuō)“我對(duì)這個(gè)專業(yè)感興趣”,可以把每個(gè)人都會(huì)談到的原因簡(jiǎn)要地羅列一下,對(duì)具有自己特色的原因則可大談特談,詳細(xì)地闡述自己的觀點(diǎn),讓老師印象深刻。
5、專業(yè)知識(shí)——在英語(yǔ)口試中(非英語(yǔ)專業(yè)),如果老師提問(wèn)專業(yè)問(wèn)題,通常不會(huì)指望你能進(jìn)行流利的、專業(yè)性強(qiáng)的闡述;但是一些專業(yè)術(shù)語(yǔ)的英文說(shuō)法還是有必要了解一下的。
6、提出問(wèn)題——在面試快結(jié)束的時(shí)候,一般老師都會(huì)問(wèn),你有沒有什么要問(wèn)的(Do you have any questions to ask?)。一般不適合說(shuō)“Idon’t have any question!笨梢詥(wèn)考官一兩個(gè)你關(guān)心的問(wèn)題。
