An Introduction to a Friend of a Good Reference Book
June 12th, 2006
Dear Lisa,
You have told me you will take CET4 in three months and you are very worried now. Here I want to recommend you a good reference book and hope it will be helpful to you.
The book, A Guide to CET4, is edited by a famous professor who has years of English teaching experience.
OK, now let me tell you how to use this book more efficiently and effectively. When you get the book, first look at the table of contents, which will help you to understand the structure of this book. This book consists of three parts — one is the tutoring and exercises arranged according to different examination types; another provides ten model tests of CET4; and the last part is the keys to all the exercises in the book.
While reading, you can either read chapter by chapter, or just find out and read the chapters that appeal to you. One thing I? like to remind you is to make full use of the model tests. Practice makes perfect, right? When you check the answers in the third part, read the explanations carefully. Having this book is really like having a professional tutor by your side.
OK, that? all for the introduction to this book. I hope it can help. Wish you good luck in the coming test.
Yours sincerely,
Zhang Hua
