上海新東方四級考試聽力部分評析

　　這次四級考試的聽力短對話部分繼承了以往考試的總體特征：

1、 建議句型的考察：以考試第11題為例：
11．M: Christmas is round the corner and I'm looking for a gift for my girlfriend. Any suggestions?

W: Well, you have to tell me something about your girlfriend first. Also, what's your budget?

Q: What does the woman want the man to do?

考察女生對男生的建議特色。原文中suggestions一詞為建議的直白表達，四個選項均以動詞詞組形式出現(xiàn)，也是建議的典型特色之一。再者，本題也體現(xiàn)了男生緊張，女生從容理智應試特色。

2、 轉折考點：以考試第12、13題為例：
12．M: What would you like for dessert? I think I'll have apple pie and ice cream.

W: The chocolate cake looks great. But I have to watch my weight, you go ahead and get yours.

Q: What will the woman most probably do?

前段說到巧克力蛋糕不錯，but之后當然話鋒一轉，所以最后女人決定不吃甜點。不過本題中值得注意的一點，也是這次四級考試聽力中的一個新的特色是大量出現(xiàn)了一些考生不太熟悉的詞組表達，比如本題中的go without。

13．W: Having visited so many countries, you must be able to speak several different languages!

M: I wish I could. But Japanese and, of course English are the only languages I can speak.

Q: What do we learn from the conversation?

女人根據(jù)男人去過許多國家推測男人會多國語言，男人在回答I wish I could.后以but轉變基調(diào)，說明其實不會那么多語言。在but考點出現(xiàn)的同時也體現(xiàn)了在四級考試中男人不夠強悍的特色。

3、 原因考點：以考試第18題為例：
18．M: The taxi driver must have been speeding.

W: Well, not really! He crashed into the tree because he was trying not to hit a box that had fallen off the truck ahead of him.

Q: What do we learn about the taxi driver?

撞車原因的考察。

4、 時間先后順序：以考試第14題為例：
14．M: Prof. Smith asked me to go to his office after class. So it is impossible for me to make it to the bar at 10：00.

W: Then it seems we'll have to meet an hour later at the library.

Q: What will the man do first after class?

同樣以動詞詞組為選項體現(xiàn)動作先后順序的特色，這與95年6月第二題比來幾乎沒有什么差別，所以說即使是新的考題，依然貫穿了老的技巧和出題思路。
