一、聽力

本次大學(xué)英語四級(jí)聽力部分分為兩個(gè)部分：短對(duì)話和篇章聽力。兩部分總的難度走平和路線，較之去年，短對(duì)話部分難度沒有提升，沒有生僻單詞的出現(xiàn)，它的難點(diǎn)基本在于語義的理解方面。例如以下三題都是考察but這個(gè)轉(zhuǎn)折詞出現(xiàn)后，句子意思的理解問題：

1. M: I think the hostess really went out of her way to make the party a success.

W: Yes. The food and drinks were great, but if only we had known a few of the other guests.

Q: What did the two speakers say about the party?

這道題目的考點(diǎn)在于“but if only we had known a few of the other guests.” But 表示轉(zhuǎn)折，暗示后面的內(nèi)容與前面陳述內(nèi)容相反，即，晚宴不太好的地方是對(duì)其他客人不熟悉。

3．M: How do you like the new physician who replaced Doctor Andrews？

W: He may not seem as agreeable or as thorough as Doctor Andrews, but at least he doesn’t keep patients waiting for hours

Q: What can we infer from the woman’s answer?

“but at least he doesn’t keep patients waiting for hours，”又是一個(gè)語義轉(zhuǎn)折的考點(diǎn)。從女士的回答可以看出，她認(rèn)為Doctor Andrews比新來的醫(yī)生要更適合這份工作，但是他常常讓病人等很長(zhǎng)時(shí)間。

5．W: Do you have the seminar schedule with you? I’d like to find out the topic for Friday.

M: I gave it to my friend, but there should be copies available in the library. I can pick one up for you.

Q: What does the man promise to do?

“but there should be copies available in the library. I can pick one up for you.”雖然男生已經(jīng)把他的給了朋友，但是圖書館里還有，他可以幫女生帶一本。

第7題是考查對(duì)比理解。

7．W: Here is this week’s schedule, Tony. On Monday there is the board meeting. Your speech at the Lion’s Club is on Tuesday afternoon. Then on Wednesday you have the appointment with your lawyer. And…

M: Wait! You mean the business conference on Tuesday is canceled?

Q: What will the man do this Tuesday?

女生說“your speech at the Lion’s Club is on Tuesday afternoon”男生驚訝于“Wait!You mean the business conference on Tuesday is canceled?”即原來安排的是商務(wù)會(huì)談，現(xiàn)在取消了。在聽這道題目時(shí)，考生一定要注意wait 這個(gè)詞，表示事實(shí)情況與原來的安排可能出現(xiàn)了差異，不能僅憑時(shí)間狀語進(jìn)行判斷。

而篇章聽力理解部分有一定的難度。三篇文章，第一篇主要介紹“Kudzu”（野葛）這種植物，它來自哪里，對(duì)于人類有哪些利弊等等。

第二篇主要介紹“university”這個(gè)單詞的來源，以及英國(guó)國(guó)內(nèi)著名大學(xué)的發(fā)展歷程。

第三篇主要介紹“Heifer International”這個(gè)國(guó)際組織的由來，它給世界人民尤其是發(fā)展中國(guó)家人民的生活帶來了哪些改變或者益處。

三篇文章的難點(diǎn)在于專業(yè)術(shù)語比較多，例如：“Kudzu”，“universitas”，“Heifer International”等等，但是文章對(duì)于這些術(shù)語都有詳細(xì)的解釋，在解釋說明時(shí)，并沒有什么疑難單詞出現(xiàn)，語法也不是很復(fù)雜。所以，考生在進(jìn)行聽力測(cè)試時(shí)，遇到生僻的單詞千萬不要緊張，只要鎮(zhèn)定自若地聽完全文，在聽的過程中，適當(dāng)做一下筆記，回答后面的問題，并不困難。
